was
able to work for hours - he just wanted more and more, and
never got tired of doing tricks or obedience. He was a pup
that you had nothing to worry about with - he never made a
mess in the house, never destroyed anything, never thought
of not obeying you... a perfect pup:-)! I didn't ever had
to put any effort while raising him - which after all brought
me some problems later in training, as I didn't really do
anything to build a |

good relationship with him, I just relied
on what he was offering and never expected more. He is sometimes
a bit too soft when working, gets too easily distracted
by what's going around him, and I need a longer time to
''persuade'' him to turn his concentration back to me, then
I am used to with my Croatian Sheepdogs, which are always
surrounding me with almost worshiping attention.
Zvoncek
is a very bright dog who learns extremly fast - I often
joke that he is probably a Border Collie cross, because
he has such a great mind:-). He has a great style while
doing tricks or obedience and will easily catch your eye.
I used to train search and rescue with him too, but as the
spring came and the vegetation grew, it showed that his
coat is to thin too protect him properly from the nettles,
torns and other ''pleasures'' of the outdoors, so we stopped
doing that. My main preocupation with him is training agility
- of course:-).
He adores pups and was delighted when Miška had a litter.
He sat on the sofa near their litter box, and watched them
excitedly for hours, wagging with the tail happily. And
when Miška was not around, he sneaked in and cleaned
the pups. As the pups grew he became their full time nanny
- he cleaned them and played with them relentlessly.
